I am a native of Charlotte, graduating from UNCC with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master's degree in Counseling from Liberty University. I am licensed in the State of North Carolina as a Licensed Professional Counselor. My extensive experience in the mental health field spans over 10 years and includes working with children and adults in both private practice and hospital settings.
I discovered my passion to help moms after helping a family member who experienced the trauma of postpartum depression. At the time, my family nor I could find a counselor in the area who specialized in this condition that afflicts so many mothers. Subsequently, I made it my personal mission to do extensive research on the subject so that no one else would have to experience that pain without having a resource in the Charlotte and Lake Norman area. My focus was broadened further to include helping women in all areas of motherhood, including help for anxiety and depression as well as help with developing plans for practical household operations.
I have been married to my husband for nine years and we have three hilarious children and one very tolerant dog. My husband is a teacher at a Classical Christian School. We both love our careers and enjoy spending time together as a family.
